MD HQL/Basic Pistol Instruction
This is Maryland’s Handgun Qualification Training Class. Our HQL Training Class includes instruction from a certified firearms instructor that includes classroom instruction on state firearm law, home firearm safety training, handgun mechanisms and operation, as well as a live fire portion.

Maryland Wear and Carry (and Renewal)
MARYLAND RESIDENTS ONLY: Participants must take this course prior to obtaining a permit to carry a firearm legally in Maryland.
Concealed Carry Permit course is a 16-hour course that includes both classroom instruction and range qualification. This course satisfies the requisite training requirement set forth by the Maryland Department of State Police for persons applying for a concealed carry permit. Renewal course is 8-hours and additionally requires range recertification.
The Maryland Wear & Carry Course extensively covers defensive strategies, criminal cues, less than lethal options, holsters, drawing from concealment, PTSD reactions to invoking lethal force, relevant Maryland and Federal legal review.

Women's Handgun & Self Defense
WOMEN ONLY
Women’s Handgun and Self-Defense Fundamentals is a welcoming and engaging training course created specifically for women. Students will learn basic to intermediate pistol instructions with hands-on fundamentals while also exploring situational awareness, common types of handguns, ammunition types, malfunctions, firearm-handling skills, and the use of deadly force.
Classroom and one on one range time with female instructors.

NRA Certified Pistol Instructor Course
This 16-hour course teaches the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching NRA’s Basic Pistol Shooting course.
Prerequisite: Possession of basic firearm safety and shooting skills is a perquisite for certification as an NRA instructor. Prior to the instructor training, candidates complete a pre-course questionnaire and demonstrate their firearm background in pre-course assessment exercises.
This course is presented in two parts: basic instructor training, and pistol instructor training. Students demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises during the course, and complete an instructor certification examination. Students will receive the NRA Trainer’s Guide, NRA Pistol Shooting Instructor Candidate Packet and NRA Basic Pistol Shooting course student packet.

One on One Range Time
Individual range time designed to assist new or advancing shooter in areas of improvement or assistance with gun handling, gun purchasing and/or gun maintenance.
